Standring property in arrears!

One of the current areas of discussion at Metro involves properties on the west side of Helvetia Road, between US 26 and West Union Road (area UR-2B on the map below).  Metro has received a lengthy letter from their attorney detailing the landowners' case for Urban Reserves, while we've been submitting testimony rebutting the points raised in the letter, and arguing that the land should be designated as Rural Reserves.

Aside from the legal arguments, we've noted that some of these properties have absentee landowners, who merely hold the property in anticipation of future profits when the land is urbanized.  Our point was reinforced recently when the notice shown below was posted on the Standring property (the southernmost lot in area UR-2B).  The notice states that the landowner is nearly $200,000 in arrears.
